As Kotobuki's writing instrument sales increased, Macos was founded in 1984 as an offshoot from Kotobuki's Sales Dept., to specialize in sales of cosmetic containers both for the domestic and overseas markets. Production and sales of cosmetic containers to well known large cosmetic companies started in the year 2000.
